We've been going here regularly for a few years and its a while since I last reviewed it, so I thought it needed updating. David and Hicham now know our preferred wines and often just appear with our favourites, and if they are not available, they have something similar. We love the Corbiéres reds and whites, and for a Rosé it has to be a from Provence. David and Hicham are both great, They really know their wines and are able to offer you several choices to try depending on your palate. David is from the USA and is great to chat to, he has a wealth if knowledge and experience as a result if his travels. Hicham has a good sense of humour and always brings a smile to to our faces. They have a tapas menu and the al a Carte menu which changes with the seasons, there isn't always a vegetarian main course on the main menu, but there is always a vegetable pizza on the tapas menu, which for Vegans they will do without cheese, as well as several other vegetarian option. The aubergine gratin as a starter is good, and with a salad, some bread or fries is a substantial meal. The charcuterie is sliced as required, and we've seen and heard others enjoying it and commenting enthusiastically about it. The terrace is great to sit and just watch the world go by. We'll keep going back.
Great welcome, great wine and exquisite tapas! We'll be back! we strongly advise :)
If you are looking for the best assiette de forage with the best Rose de Provence with the tastiest bread, look no further than this little gem hidden on the main street. The Maître' d David makes you so very welcome and is so interesting to speak with. All who work there are so fabulously friendly whilst showing the upmost respect and professionalism.
I went for a drink with a girlfriend and the welcome was really great! the servers (including a charming New Yorker) have advised us well on our choice of red! and the frame is nice!
