Walker's - Niagara On The Lake

We stopped in at Walkers for a drink and and a snack after a trek through the gorge. We picked the egg salad sandwiches. The sandwich was great, the egg filling was bursting from the bread, the bread and filling were fresh and enjoyable. Sat out from for awhile and watched the world go by, quite relaxing.

Honestly, best pumpkin pie we ever had! Lots of interesting food items but the pumpkin pie is amazing!

My husband could LIVE on cherry pie and he swears that Walker's is the best. Lots of fruit and not too much sugar. This is a farmer's market with fresh produce, jams etc. They also make great turkey sandwiches. But for us it is all about the pies. Their prices are also some of the best around. In the fall try pumpkin and also their apple with caramel. BTW - we live in town so this recommendation comes after trying MANY pies . . . Nice outdoor sitting area - no seating indoors.

Great roadside establishment. Their homemade sandwiches/desserts are not to be missed and very reasonably priced. Full produce stand with fresh fruits and vegetables. Outdoor seating to watch traffic go by. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Depending on the time of year will determine what fruit you will find . This place has a feel good, supporting the local farmer kind of feel to it. Fresh strawberries were plentiful on this visit, last year was cherry season when we stopped in.
