Nice room. The food was decent overall. Service was good. My table has 5 orders and none of them came at the same time. By the time the final order arrived at the table the person who's order arrived first had already finished eating. Called ahead and made a reservation for 6:30 for my wife and i, we arrived on time and were seated at a table, we sat there for 25 minutes and no one even came over to our table so we walked out after wasting almost a half hour. The place was also dirty, there's cobwebs in the ceiling corner of the walls, and the place is dirty and has flies. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Newtown as we live 5 minutes away, what a shame, the hostess even was clueless and thanked us for coming in as we walked out, she had no clue no one even served us or anything. I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. I waited for 10 minutes without being attended to, and the staff didn't inform me that my order was sitting right behind her desk. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, but the service and atmosphere were both a 1.

Overall, the experience was not as good as it once was. The seat springs are damaged, causing you to sink down uncomfortably. The service was lacking; it took too long to get silverware, water, and napkins, and catching the staff's attention was a challenge. As for the food, I found it to be quite average. We won't be returning.
