Las Fajitas Newport Beach

Came here on a working trip and the lobster was amazing! We ordered four for the table. It is hot and precoated in butter. It comes in 4 ounces or 6 ounces – it is a small intimate place. Great for lunch!

My fiancé and I are on vacation with our four kids (16, 15, 14, 8). It’s really hard to find a restaurant where everyone is extremely happy with their food, but Hook Anchor knocked it out of the park! The staff were all very patient and helpful while the 6 of us were trying to figure out what we wanted. We never once felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing them. We ordered lobster fries, clam chowder, two mahi mahi tacos, two crusty crab burgers, lobster mac cheese, and fish and chips. Everything was mouthwateringly delicious!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our food! My 15-year-old, who doesn’t like seafood, devoured her crusty crab burger. We all walked out of there happy and stuffed. We are here on vacation from Utah, but if we lived in the area, we’d 100% frequent this little restaurant. I’ll be thinking about those loaded fries for a while!

Ate here yesterday and the service was excellent!! The food was delicious and made to order so I Had to come back today!! Had the fish and chips yesterday and the portions are huge!! Had the Lobster mac and cheese today and it was cheesy and delicious with plenty of Lobster!! A definitely must go to in Newport Beach!!

Best Lobster Roll I’ve had. Warm with plenty of lobster, warm and well buttered bread that has plenty of room to be stuffed. Lobster itself is great and well made. The mac n cheese with lobster is very heavy with plenty of cheese but also comes out hot and tasty.

This place is incredible—I can hardly put it into words! I've never been a fan of seafood, especially crabs and shrimp, and I never thought I would try lobster. However, my wife and daughter love seafood, so I decided to give it a shot. What a fantastic surprise! This charming little spot, with its small parking lot, served us fresh lobster. We devoured everything we ordered: Lobster Mac n' Cheese, lobster fries, Surf and Turf with salmon and steak, clam chowder, and some fantastic craft beer! A special note: usually, the steak in a surf and turf dish can be hit or miss, but today, it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for their lobster, fish, and steak, and we will definitely be returning!
