Benihana - Newport Beach

Whenever I want dinner and a show, I always go to Benihana and I'm never disappointed. The Newport Beach Benihana has been recently renovated and it looks great! I love the modern new look. My food was also fresh and delicious. I started the evening with a Sake Sangria and a California Roll. They were the perfect start for a fabulous evening. Then at the hibachi table I was entertained by an ingenious chef who had some neat tricks on his sleeve. I'm always in. I can't wait to come back!

Benihana's flavors are so unique that it should be categorized under its own kitchen. We have different Teppan houses like Yama Teppan House in Dana Point), my husband, “the weekend cook” goes online for Benihana’s secrets... but nothing can replace authentic Benihana flavor. My daughter ordered the special Benihana that is the Steak Lobster, but they replaced the Fillet Mignon for the Steak) I find the lobster too rich and the chicken-hibachi style excellent. But I have to say the nothing beats the hibachi Fillet Mignon ...must order the next time
