Westside Pizza - Newport

As I write this review, I am eating a perfect slice of pizza. That’s not hyperbole, this place is super good!

Last night, my pizza cravings led me to try Westside Pizza for the first time, and I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed. Though I wasn't expecting a world-class pizza, I was at least hoping for a decent, edible meal. Unfortunately, the pizza fell far short of even that modest expectation.To begin with, the service was the only redeeming factor of my experience. The young lady who took my order was courteous and respectful, providing a pleasant interaction. However, the quality of the pizza itself left much to be desired.The moment I took my first bite, I knew something was off. The pizza tasted as if it had been pulled out of the oven far too early, leaving it severely undercooked. The crust was doughy, chewy, and lacked the crispiness I usually look for in a good pizza. The overall texture was unappetizing and made it difficult to enjoy my meal.I can't help but think that anyone who truly enjoys Westside Pizza must have an underdeveloped palate or has never had the pleasure of tasting a well-prepared pizza. It is baffling how a pizzeria could serve such an unsatisfactory product.In summary, my experience at Westside Pizza was a massive letdown. The only positive aspect was the friendly service, but that simply wasn't enough to make up for the subpar pizza. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a satisfying pizza experience, and I, for one, will not be returning.

Being new to the area my husband and I have tried a number of local pizza joints, but we like this one best. We especially like their BBQ chicken pizza. And if you're not that hungry they do have pizza by the slice. Even better they deliver. This is our new local pizza joint!

I absolutely LOVE this pizza and so happy to have found one in Newport! The ingredients are fresh and the pricing is fair. Slices available at lunch too! There is even comfortable indoor seating. UPDATE: Two downfalls... the employees rarely seem to know information they should (possible management fault) and don't bother signing up for their email specials/notifications because they do not honor them. In fact, some friends of mine cslled in yhe order stating in advance the special mentioned in the email but when they arrived to puck up their order were informed the special would not be honored. Not only that, but they were charged the more expensive 2 combo pizza special (normally on the menu) instead of their 2 two topping pizzas. Even though I really love this pizza, bad management will force me to take my business elsewhere to the other locally owned pizza establishments in downtown Newport or the edge of town in Priest River.
