New Riff Distilling - Newport

Enjoyed a rye tasting here that was quite good. Friendly bartender and modern dogs made this a fun place to visit. I’d like to take a tour or do one of the guided tastings on my next visit.

The facility is beautiful! The folks at New Riff provide a fantastic tour experience capped with a great tasting at the end. When I visited in 2022, there was a long lineup so bring a DD! A great benefit was the accessibility to the liquor store next door (the distillery and liquor store share a parking lot).

Just up the road from us and I wish we visited sooner.Wonderful local distillery. People are super friendly. The tour was amazing. The tasting was fab. We try so many bourbons. They were so good. Will visit again!Also signed up for the New Riff Whiskey Club! Cant wait to check out more.

Extremely enjoyed exploring one of the most northern Kentucky distilleries on the bourbon trail, New Riff!Grover, our guide to all things bourbon, was phenomenal! Very educational and open to all questions. While this tour doesn’t include bottling or Rick house tours, it does show you new riffs distilling process bundled with a tasting!Best parts of New Riff, it’s proximity to party source (a spot for all the bourbon you want to take home after the tour), 10% off whatever you purchase in the New Riff store after the tour (fyi: tour is $20-24 a person), and the gin offerings available to try in the tasting! (And buy if you like it).

Wow beautiful tasting room/bar, and Incredible tour! Grover is the man and offered a wealth of info about New Riff’s distilling process from start to finish. I learned a ton and had a blast doing so. Outstanding, world class rye and bourbon.. brought back to Philly a bottle of both the malted rye and single barrel rye which I look forward to tucking into ASAP. Overall, a perfect stopover on the drive back from Nashville.
