Lee's Wok - Newport

Friendly, helpful, waitress who took time to help us find the perfect dishes for us. The food was fresh and hot and really good. Will be going back even tho I live in Florence and it is quite a drive. Well worth it..

Food wasn't ready until like 25 minutes later service wasn't very good I had to go fill my own cup twice and they asked me for a tip and I didn't give it

Very homey feeling inside and the smells hit you as you go in! My go to takeout chinese in town, have tried the various offerings in town and I consider Lee's the least greasy, which is great for those that care about such a thing. Generous servings on the menu, which lasts me 2-3 hearty meals. Of note, their General Tso chicken can come deep fried(normal way at most places), or stir fried, which comes with veggies and wok style chicken instead of fried(think kung pao style cooked chicken), and both are phenomenal, just depends on the mood

The food we had here was great. The portions are generous. The sweet sour pork used nice cuts of white meat and are much larger than elsewhere. The sweet sour sauce had bits of fresh ginger in it. The cashew chicken was delicious!

I don't know what's happened to this restaurant I used to come here all the time I took a brief hiatus from the coast less than a year and now a $10 plate turned into a $30 plate and dinner for two now cost over $60 that is a rip-off for what you're getting a bunch of grease in a bowl I used to recommend this place to everybody that asked me where to go to eat and I will never recommend it again ever
