Vanilla Spice - Newport

Before my visit to the restaurant, I called ahead to inform the staff of my dietary restrictions. The staff member I spoke to was well-informed about safe options for me. Upon my arrival, I had the opportunity to speak with the same staff member to ensure my choices were appropriate. I enjoyed a generous portion of tasty curry.

We ordered a farewell dish and were disappointed as it did not taste up to the usual quality we are accustomed to from Vanille. It seemed like the regular chef was not working that day.

Visited the vanille season with a few friends after driving past and thought what a nice restaurant it was. if only the service and eating as well as it looked. I am disappointed because my hopes were very high. Oh, you win something and you lose something. Stars x

Sat last night and had an excellent meal, all fresh, hot and tasty. the personal brilliant and had a nice warm greeting from naz, which was a pleasure. will be back soon

Ok, it was after the wales w scotland rugby match we were refined and hungry, but hey the welcome we got in the restaurant was very appreciated. all staff were very friendly and did everything they could for us, along with the fast and...efficient service for drinks and eating. well earned advertising as place for fine eating! at a middle area price a revisit as were back!
