Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant came highly recommended by the staff at the motel where we stayed, and boy were they right! Really good food at a VERY good price, top notch and attentive servers, fast service and a very nice ambience. My husband got the Swedish pancakes, which came with a ton of lingonberries, not the expected sprinkling, just as one example. I would have to struggle to come up with anything negative to say about them the only thing I can say is I wish they opened earlier. 8:00 is late for many people, but well worth the wait. Run, don't walk there!
Eggs Benedict? NOT! So, I hate leaving low rating reviews. But there are times when it 's necessary. This morning I met a friend at the Chalet. I ordered Eggs Benedict. Now, in my 65 years, I 've ordered this as a breakfast choice all over the world. It 's usually always the same for standard benedict....poached eggs, atop Canadian bacon, on an english muffin, with Hollandaise sauce. What did I get at Chalet? 2 over easy eggs on top of deli sliced ham; yes there was an english muffin, but the Hollandaise sauce barely covered the eggs. Without a doubt the worst Eggs Benedict I 've ever had.
Excellent place for lunch, good service we have driven past this place for 30 years we have been visiting the coast. We now regret not stopping in sooner!!!!! And the carrot cake was out of this world.
Most excellent place for breakfast, we ate there two days in a row. First day we had the blueberry hazelnut pancakes and they were divine. Day two we had the sunrise special, a standard breakfast. Staff was attentive and friendly.
Right off Hwy 101 at the North end of Newport. Excellent service at 8:30 AM. Had senior plate with 1 egg, 2 sausage links and 2 pancakes coffee. Perfect way to start a sightseing on the Oregon coast.
