Ruth's Chris Steak House - Newington

We went to celebrate our mothers 78th bitthday. The service was wonderful. We had Chris as our server and he is a true OG professional. The steaks, salads, and sides, and desserts were fantastic, although the French Onion soup was average..it used to be top notch at least when it was on the menu full time. The one small disappointment was the absence of the banana cream pie for dessert...that was our favorite and my mother was looking forward to it.

Very outdated. Think of a diner with 1980s home granite bar counter tops.

My wife and I decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat.. Staff is always nice and professional, The Filet and crablegs is a mots get! Filet is very juicy and tender and the crablges are a good size and fresh.. Thank you for the hospitality

Unfortunately things were just off last night. My wife's salmon came out warm not hot and had to back to the kitchen. It was supposed too be blacked but it hardly had anything on it.Having to wait for your meal when I'm eating mine is always inconvenient. My New York strip was the right temperature but not as tender as usual. They had a banana cream pie as a desert option and it was not even close to being a traditional banana cream pie, not good. The server was kind enough to take it off the tab and gave us a piece of carrot cake to go.
