Papa Shafs - Newham

I must say, the food here is delicious. Most fish and chip shops in Forest Gate take forever, but this shop serves their food faster than any other. They have two big competitors, A La Pizza and Al Faruq, but I have to say they are much quicker. I have had delivery from them a few times and they were faster than most other places. I am really happy and would recommend this shop over A La Pizza and Al Faruq. The only downside is that sometimes the food can be slow during regular opening times, probably because they are preparing fresh wings and chips. Other than that, the manager runs the business smoothly. I have tried most of the food here and personally think their wings are better than A La Pizza. The wings here are really good. I will definitely come back again.

Delivery orders can sometimes be incorrect, but they often offer free wings or strips as an apology. Despite occasional errors, the food is consistently fantastic. They always prepare it exactly how you want it! I once requested a custom dish and they made it perfectly. If you do choose to order for delivery, I suggest contacting the owner directly, as they are very polite and apologetic for any mistakes. This is why we continue to order from Papa Shaf's regularly.

The restaurant recently changed ownership, resulting in some delays in service. However, the food quality remains delicious despite the shift in staff under new management.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the wings were delicious. I will definitely return in the future. It was a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
