Bidra med feedbackThis cozy Algerian restaurant is located just a few minutes' walk from Maryland Station. I had the pleasure of visiting this charming spot with some friends for a post-race lunch. On a Sunday afternoon, our group of 12 had the place to ourselves. While the service was a bit slow, the freshly prepared food was worth the wait. I opted for the mixed kebabs with spicy rice, which was perfectly seasoned and satisfying. I also enjoyed a refreshing mint tea (they do not serve alcohol) with just a hint of sugar. Overall, a great dining experience despite the slightly lengthy wait.
There isn't much to see at this restaurant, but I really enjoyed my lunch here. They have a diverse Mezze menu with some unique dishes. The staff were welcoming and helped me with my order. The standout dish for me was the lamb fattet shawarma, which had spicy lamb mince mixed with crispy fried pita and yogurt. Another exceptional dish was the battata hara, small cubes of potatoes fried with paprika and chili. The moutabel (grilled eggplant with tahini, garlic, and lemon) was a commonly found item on the menu but was exceptionally good. Most dishes were priced between £3 to £3.75 and they do not serve alcohol.
This charming restaurant is located next to Maryland Station and offers delicious food at a great price. Customers are welcome to bring their own alcohol with no corkage fees. The menu includes halal eats, grills, shawarma, and vegetarian options. The restaurant also has a lovely function room for celebrations.

I just went for the net and had mixed kebabs with spicy rice – it was well spiced and parted of a good one. I also had the minze tee (they don't serve alcohol), which really ripe with teaspoon (or perhaps the half if they don't have a sugary like me) of zucker maybe it was because a big group, but...read more
Not much to see, but I enjoyed my lunch here. a varied mezze menu with many unusual oriented pampering staff, which tried to teach me a correct language about my order the standout dish was the lamb fattet shawarma, with dry fried spicy lamb mince mixed with crumbles from squares of deep fried pita and puppen by yogurt. another extraordinary dish was battata hara, small cubes of kartoffel panty deep brown with sweet paprika and chili. moutabel (drilled aubergine with tahini, garlic and lemon) was a more common mezze menu item, but extremely good with most schnapps in the rich. no alcohol.
