Nagisa Japanese - Newcastle

Food: 5 stars Service: 4 stars Came here for lunch having been given a gift card. I can see why, the food is undoubtedly too quality with prices to match. I couldn't believe that lunch for two people cost $170 including drinks, so it's a place I wouldn't frequent just because of the price. The girl serving us for some reason looked like we annoyed her by asking for rice, but I get the feeling it wasn't us anyway.

The staff were really really nice. Even apologised for forgetting to serve us. The sashimi was nice and fresh, the confit chicken was a little too soft for me, waygu tataki was nice, the tempora prawn was average but quite expensive for what it was. The tofu and mushroom were amazing but a little too salty. The chilli edemame was beautiful with the chilli. The bonoffee gyoza was MIND BLOWINGLY AMAZING

Excellent Japanese food! Their Bento selections are amazing and the sushi is to die for! Quality service and very quick too. Keep up the great work!

My wife and I had a delicious dinner at Nagisa last night, food and staff were exceptional. It is one of my favourite places to eat at and look forward to going back for more.

Great atmosphere and always get exceptional service here the food is flavourful and very fresh, the scallop I had last night was the best I've had in a very long time!
