Bathers Cafe - Newcastle

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and coffee at this restaurant in the late morning. The sourdough bread was amazing! The coffee was excellent and everything was reasonably priced. The location and panoramic view were also fantastic. Cheers!

This Cafe is in an excellent location, opposite the beautiful beach. The one thing that left an impression was the wonderful service from all the staff here. They were friendly, down to earth and professional. The food was great and the coffee was amazingly good. Great cafe and well worth the visit.

Located just steps away from the beach, Estabar offers a variety of unique and delicious dishes in a contemporary setting. The waitstaff are extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even providing lap blankets to keep us warm in the cool air. While the menu may not be extensive, it caters well to modern tastes. If you're looking for a sophisticated breakfast or brunch spot in Newcastle, Estabar is the perfect choice.

Fabulous location; wonderful friendly service. a splendid view of the ocean and the passing coal container ships. terrific coffee a long black served with a spritzer (wonderful! , and a strong cappuccino. You actually get service here! No having to hop the counter. I had a really great bruschetta with salmon, labna, red onion, rocket and capers. Really delicious and fresh. And filling! Hubby had a ham and cheese toastie with halloumi on the side. He really enjoyed it; said the bread was great (as was my toasted sourdough . Dogs are welcome outside. The interior is cute and cosy. We loved this place!

The location is nice, with great gelato and coffee available. The Chickpea curry is flavorful and has just the right amount of spice. The restaurant is small, but it is located on a corner overlooking the beach. Please note that it can be a bit noisy at times.
