Greaser's Good Food - NEWCASTLE WEST

Sadly we were disappointed with our first takeaway from Greasers on Sat 28th Oct the burgers were sloppy unformed and mushy and the Big G was insanely salty like someone have dropped the seller in it... The chips were ok but also a bit mushy. The shakes were good though. Don’t think we will be back shame as we were recommended the place. The Family Hotel is a drinking house from another age waiting for redevelopment. The decor is yesterday but comfortable. Staff are friendly, beer selection is adequate and cold. 'Greasers ' is not the best name selection. Food choices are limited to burgers and tacos and could be improved. This local is dog friendly and not recommended if you dislike sharing food with furry pets. Worth a visit for the experience. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I was looking forward to a fully vegan burger joint, to be completely disappointed. Both myself and my partner who aren't fussy eaters couldn't finish our burgers and left most of it behind. We got two different burgers off the menu which were both very soft and a very sickly texture that left our stomach churning. The bun and patty along with the sauces were pure mush. The chips were okay to be fair but definitely will never come back.
