The Trent House - Newcastle upon Tyne

Had a giggle with the lovely bar lady about slim and normal tonic, but actually appreciate that they select the correct glass for the right drink. Small detail, but shows they care. A breath of fresh air in all the city boozy dross.

This is one of my fav pubs loads of great ales and good selecting of food a one everyone should have a go and again and again

I've loved the Trent since I was a student, and whilst we don't get there so often now, I still love it! A great Newcastle pub, near enough to the centre to be accessible, and far enough away to be individual. A bit of an institution probs one of the best five pubs in town

We went here for a quick lunch... the place is very nice, a bit on the alternative side, very welcoming indeed. Toasts were big, good and inexpensive. Beers very good as well, and good selection.
