Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely amazing eating. it was a little expensive, but the portion sizes are very generous. we had jackfruit shawarma flatbread with last of salat, red cabbage, chili and tasty sauces, mac and cheeze and salt and chili chips. the personal was beautiful and I will definitely go back!
I’ve always really liked this place but recently the food wait times have gone beyond what is feasible for most people. Ordered food well over an hour ago, and after asking staff they said it is still coming. We can see food sitting on the side so think that the whole process could be a lot more efficient.
I used to be a regular and love it here however I’ve been repeatedly disappointed by disgusting service from staff. Food is lovely but service is inexcusable. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-25
Nice-looking place, great atmosphere and perfect location (a scenic walk along the river from the city centre). We got the chance to try the food last week and loved it. I had the flatbread and my partner a burger. Really tasty food in generous portions. Our only quibble was the price of a pint; we had one and then moved elsewhere for the rest of the evening, as we couldn't afford to drink as well as eat here.
I must have eaten here 50 times over the last few years and the food continues to be outstanding. By far the best place in Newcastle for vegans. Bravo to Jane and staff.
