The Greek Grill Authentic

This warm and inviting family restaurant serves delicious food that reminds me of the meals I enjoyed in Greece. I highly recommend trying the Kleftiko with a side of horiatiki salad for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

I have visited The Real Geek in London multiple times and was pleased to see one open in Newcastle. The service provided by Josh and Phoebe was excellent. My only complaint is that the downstairs area was quite chilly.

I am semi Hellenic and Vegan, so not an easy customer! I had Gigantes (big beans) in a rich tomato sauce. The owner also kindly recommended an additional dish, Spinach and Rice. All came with bread. The food here is excellent and easily as good as what my yia yia would make. High praise. For me better than the city centre alternatives. Ambience is lovely, amazing traditional decoration. We expected something a bit different based on an earlier limited experience as we came back with 13 for a three generation family dinner. It exceeded our expectations Warm and friendly welcome, fussed over the kids. Made everyone feel comfortable. The Patron/chef is a character and loves his good to please his guests. His wife, son and girlfriend complete the team and all added to the wonderful experience Food good, prices very reasonable and such a fun experience We will be back

Popped in here after climbing, so glad we did it was fantastic from start to finish. The hummus was the best I’ve ever had! We will be back
