Bidra med feedbackIn my opinion it’s the most beautiful place in Newcastle.
Delicious pastries, buttery croissants, and excellent coffee.
This charming little cafe is a hidden gem, offering delicious homemade treats along with a variety of teas, coffees, and other beverages. Currently, due to the pandemic, there is no seating available, but they continue to offer amazing cakes (such as gateau, cheesecake, and éclairs) and savory dishes for takeaway. Personally, I consider this to be the best bakery in Newcastle. It's an independent, family-run establishment with friendly service, tasty food, and reasonable prices. The only downside is that it can be difficult to find a table during busy times, but it's well worth the wait. As of November 2023, the cafe is just as wonderful as ever. Nothing more needs to be said.
An awesome cafe/patisserie. A good selection of hot drinks, baked sweet goods and savoury small dishes available. The coffee is great, and the toasted flatbreads are delicious (try the bacon and brie one, or there are plenty of veggie options too! . Prices are quite reasonable, particularly as the location is quite central. The space inside isn't that big, so getting a seat might be a little difficult at times. The staff were all so lovely; every single member of staff I came across was so friendly and smiley, which really added to the experience.
Cosy french style cafe that also sells delicious patisserie style cakes, with different choices available each day. Seating is limited but nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy an hour or two. We enjoyed warm almond and cherry scones, that crumbled nicely in your mouth, and good cappuccino coffee. We will visit again.
