Bidra med feedbackAt the beginning we were greeted by a warm host who sat up with a fantastic view of the hudson river on a beautiful sunny day. then we met our blonde waitress who didn't seem to know what a smile was. when I ordered the sole francaise, I have correctly pronounced Fran-says the waitress (that she incorrectly corrected me) says, it is extremely french chays I replied, no, it is pronounced Fran-Says she rolls her eyes wrong says again, it is extremely french chays at this point should they have realized that even if a customer tries to tip something wrong, which I was not starting, it is not during the meal it was not much better from her (forget about, ignoring, more eye-rolling, etc. but I know that this is not a reflection of all the staff since I had eaten there before had wonderful service of hostes, bar staff, busgirls, etc. in any case I have ordered the sole francaise in the did, it was something of the freshest I had ever. our table had also generous portions of lobster bisque, perfect oysters rockefeller, several sorts of sandwiches/rolls-ALL wonderful. this would have been a perfect 10 experience if only for this waitress (they need some improvement in the training of workers on how to explain the menu how to avoid offensive customers if these waiters continue to work here), but since I know I will make sure not to get them again, I will offer for everything else that this restaurant has to offer.
Never a bad experience here. Staff and owner are super friendly. Highly recommend coming here.
The food was so amazing and so was the service! highly recommend!! our waitress Haley was so friendly and knowledgeable! we will definitely be coming back!!
Excellent fresh seafood. Wings are to die for. Fish tacos are amazing. Excellent customer service. Served in a timely manner. Only gripe was my surf and turf steak was a little overcooked. But overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.
This was our Valentine's Day dinner. Everything went well, great company, excellent food and service. It’s not a huge menu; but there is enough variety to find something. For those who care there are 2 washrooms that are gender neutral. I don't know why any negative reviews; this is our second visit and we're very particular about our seafood. NO COMPLAINTS here. For a starter we had a clams oregenata; an actual clam in a delicious sauce. Perfectly cooked and executed. I tried the sole francaise with a potato croquet and broccoli. Both the sole and potato were amazing. Hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I'm not a broccoli fan, so I can't comment on the vegetable. Although the size of the fillet was closer to the size of a flounder fillet. It was still toothsome morsel. I've caught and cleaned enough of both, but nevertheless it wasn't over cooked. She had the seared sea scallops. Not even a Michelin star celebrity chef would have a complaint with the way they were prepared. The portions are just enough and the flavors complimentary. The margarita wasn't boozy, too sweet, or unbalanced. It was a sipping drink that went down smoothly. She thoroughly enjoyed her **** Mary. It too, was just right. The espresso had actual schiuma! You need a machine for that. I just can't believe this restaurant isn't on coast; where really fresh seafood is always available and the patrons are used to exceptional seafood prepared and served to perfection. That's why the five star rating; if I could give an extra star I would.
