Yamhill Grill - Newberg

The quality of food was indeed very good. The decor was pleasantly air-conditioned, with good quality furniture. Thank you for a nice evening. We all loved all night from your hospitality to decor and good food. The drinks were also amazing.

Despite its humble looking outdoor and bar atmosphere, this place has a large menu and good food in the price range. We had a great waitress who was attentive to our needs. Also it looks like a good bar to kick back and have a few cold and enjoy businesses, maybe meet someone. A local told me about this place and he hangs around here.

Unfortunately, a few years back Finnigan has opened the partition between the dining room and the bar. At the same time, the kitchen seemed to suffer from the neglect of the managers. Before, they had consistently the best food for the price in Newberg. We decided to give them another try tonight, and while the bar atmosphere is still going to dinner, the kitchen was completely redeemed and the food was pretty good and price reasonable. The Prime Rib was comparable to cuts in double prices elsewhere. The waiting staff was easy and seemed to run double duty with the bar, but the service was competent.

The service and the food were good and the prices were reasonable. The decor is dated, but if you can overlook this and enjoy typical American style food, you might like it. They offer some rich salads and omelets that are quite delicious. My husband liked her fish and chips.
