Bidra med feedbackCJ was super nice. He prepared our table before we arrived, and demonstrated great patience to our family. I am taking one star for the burned pizza. Not because it was burned to coal, but because they brought it to the table, for the kids. And I 've got a quick thought in my head, "why didnt we go for sushi next door. "The place is very comfortable. However, I would not suggest it for the family with kids. It is definitely focused on serving wine and beer.
I'd give it no star if I could. What pizza joint doesn't have cheese? Really? Not trying to eat there anymore. A couple good pizzas then it's either burnt or can't be made.
We recently stumbled upon this place, and we love it! I favor the cured meat pizza and the beer cheese pizza. The cured meat pizza has a nice mix of ingredients where you can really taste each element because it is not overloaded. The beer cheese pizza has a unique cheese sauce, crispy bacon and prosciutto, and a little kick from the jalapenos. We've also tried the supreme, which is great if you want a super loaded pizza. For me though, the ratio isn't quite right. There's an overwhelming taste of mushrooms and olives, then green peppers. And somewhere in the background, there's sausage and pepperoni, which you cannot see because the veg covering is so thick. Good crust that you'll want to eat. For us, 48 North deserves 5 stars.
3 weeks ago we bought 3 pizzas we were very pleased with them. So tonight we order another one. It was just the opposite. It lacked sauce the crust was soggy the edges were burnt. I have had better frozen pizzas. most certainly not a $31.00 pizza
Another pizza place that has Vegan options, thank the gods! But these options are outstanding and above and beyond the standard toppings and flavor profiles most pizza places offer. We got *The Vegan The Kinder Green and *The Vegan Greek and both were outstanding!!! Honestly cannot say enough good words. We had the cold leftovers this morning and they did not disappoint. 48N is new to Newberg at 4 mos and I am so happy. Their wine and beer selection looks enticing and we are considering joining the wine club. We will absolutely be going back to try their other pizzas. And a shout out to Roger who was very nice, accommodating and helpful. The young lady who helped us was also very welcoming. When you can't be in Portland to go to Virtuous Pie, I will take 48N any day of the week. Thanks guys for showing up!
