Smuggler's Cove - Newaygo

Excellent food, exceptional service, generous servings. I had the Pork Steak Basket. The Steak was fork tender, juicy and very flavorful. About half my meal came home to enjoy another day. The Handicap ramp was gentle and easy to traverse. There's both booths and tables which are easily accessible. The Ladies Room is also quite accessible. The serving staff are the kind that keep your coffee cup filled without you feeling like you're being eagle-eyed. My experience was very pleasant.

Me and my wife had wonderful food and great service. We went out for her birthday and ordered the crab legs. We had prompt service and our water never hit the bottom of our glasses, always being filled up. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.

Atmosphere was clean and friendly. I visited with a small group of people. The hamburgers were great, the steak was great, the crab legs were great, but the Walleye was slimey, hence the 4 star rating. I'm sure I just received a bad example of their dish, but this was the one and only time I've been there. The parking lot was literally overflowing traffic on to the street, so this is definitely a good restaurant to visit if you're in the area. It also has a great view of Hess lake from every seat!

Best taco salad I've had in a long time...nicely presented with cheesy nachos. Love eating on the deck. First time I've been in the ladies' room since they remodelled it Had to take pictures! Who takes pictures of a ladies room? Couldn't help it...love the sink!

I visited in a group of 10. We had to wait awhile to get a table to accommodate all of us, but that's to be expected. Our server, Amber, did a great job keeping the checks straight (There were three families. . Service was spot on, and all of our food came out within a few minutes. As usual at Smuggler's, the staff was on top of refills and used dishes. Smuggler's always provides a great experience.
