Vita Nova - Newark

We are a trio of U of D Alumni who meet once a month for a dinner. This evening, we have dined to the Vita Nova at the Trabant Center of Universities. What a great meal we had together. The service and kitchen staff are all students of the school. Everything was excellent! Course by course was unique and delicious. The waiter took care of each one of us as if we were the only table. We spent our meals and the evening in Vita Nova. We look forward to our next time there. Thank you.

Our party of four loved everything we had. The service was impeccable. The standout for us was the nitro ice on the table side prepared. It was a bit shocking to see dessert from students, the security equipment, but so well prepared.

Large student playground with good food and wine. Filet and Halibut were excellent. Student waitstaff was top score. Decor could use help from the design collage of UD. On the back there is a Bland space that requires design aid. Not as cheap as you might think. Go!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Vita Nova is the best kept fine dining experience in Delaware. Most other fine dining restaurants locally are well-known. This, however, was a wonderful surprise. The food was exceptional and well timed. The service was great. Photos don't do this restaurant justice. More details will be added later.
