Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Newark

This was my first time in Delaware during a business trip from Miami, and I was really craving a smoothie. When I walked into the establishment, I was surprised to find that I was the only customer, while there were seven employees present. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I stood there for a full four minutes, waiting for one of them to acknowledge and help me.What made the situation even more frustrating was the fact that two of the employees looked directly at me and then proceeded to turn their backs, resuming whatever they were doing. This blatant display of disregard and lack of customer service ultimately led me to leave the establishment. VERY DISAPPOINTED

This Tropical Smoothie Cafe has such a great location and I usually order here instead of getting more preservative based foods from the food court in the mall.The staff can prepare smoothies so quick! And they definitely take pride in that. I really enjoy the food options and being able to remove chicken or swap with a vegetarian option. I usually get a Hummus Wrap or a Sante Fe Quesadilla with no chicken.The smoothies blend so well and are so balanced, no chunks or over powering flavors. I always remove the sugar and sub with coconut or white chocolate and it's perfect.Their seasonal options are fantastic so make sure you go at least once every season.

First time trying tropical smoothie. There were many flavors to choose from. The paradise point with strawberries, bananas and pineapple was perfect. Located just outside of the mall. Convenient location. Tropical smoothie also offers a variety of sandwiches, wraps and quesadillas if you are hungry for more than a smoothie.

Always quick service that provides me a yummy smoothie for my days after treating myself to a massage or facial at the nearby Massage Envy. A central spot near the mall just time yourself well to avoid the busy times as traffic can be intense. Enjoying a T Mobile Tuesday free smoothie on my day off.
