Bidra med feedbackLittle Peach's Bento Dim Sum Cafe is located in the Cedar Village plaza. There is plenty of parking here, but this plaza can get pretty busy. They are located in the corner, so it may be easily missed. They did not have any regular milk teas, so I tried their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba. It was overly sweet and not my cup of tea. I tried their honey soy sauce chicken wings as well. It was a bit burnt, so the skin was too crispy and crunchy.
Food here is really good, a nice little gem we stumbled onto. Looks like it's closed now, but wanted to share how much we enjoyed the food.
We were on the search for dim sum (Har Gow Chinese shrimp dumplings). Called this place and asked if they had Har Gow. Since she didn't know what I was saying I just asked if they have shrimp dumplings. The lady said they did so we drove over and the only shrimp they have is fried shrimp. They have rice and noodle dishes and some appetizers. I'm sorry but you can't say your a dim sum place when all you really have is the soup dumpling. There's more to dim sum than that. We just left and continued on our search.
I saw this place when it first opened but at that time, their menu selection was limited. I saw that they now offer a variety of dishes such as fried chicken, dumplings, pork buns, and several Chinese dishes. The pork buns, liang pi, and Korean fried chicken were good. For the Chinese dishes, we ordered the Japanese style wagyu, black bean braised fish, and Napa cabbage and those were all good.
I've always passed by this place but never tried it so I swung by and decided to grab some takeout for dinner. I got the spicy Dan Dan noodles and the spicy beef noodle soup. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the two dishes tasted! I'm a super big fan of dry spicy noodles and the Dan Dan noodles had the perfect combo of genuine flavor and spiciness. I don't know what they used to make these noodles but they were extremely Al dente and upon slurping them up you could taste the umami bombs explode on your palette! They were absolutely delicious! The spiciness complemented the other flavors so well and wasn't overpowering at all! You honestly can't go wrong with spicy beef noodle soup here. I'm not the biggest fan of beef noodle soup because a lot of the places I've had in the states, the broth tasted bland. This place though, bomb! The perfect balance between savory and spicy and the beef was also super tender. Noodles were nice and chewy but not too chewy. All in all, a solid place to grab noodles and bentos!
