Flame Grill - Newark

Excellent food and service!Owner was very kind and explained the menu. We tried the appetizer sampler, lamb Chops, adana kabab and Alexander kabab. Each of the entrées was great-perfect portions and wonderful taste. The Owner treated us to the kunaffeh which was delicious as well.We'll definitely be back!

The food was fantastic the service was great. The atmosphere needs some music. I have to admit that they do need to improve the pricing. It seems a little steep.

Stopped in while traveling for work. Small, modest eatery brightly lit. Had the Alexander Kabob and the turkish pizza. Food was so good i tracked down the owner to shake his hand. Exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend.

The Adana kababs are notably dry, to the point where even one bite feels like a challenge, necessitating a considerable amount of water consumption. The grilled chicken fares no better, lacking flavor and tenderness. Additionally, the rice dishes seem to be lacking in taste, lacking any discernible flavor profile. This trend has persisted over the course of four visits within the past month, with each subsequent visit exacerbating the disappointment. Given these consistent letdowns, it's particularly frustrating that the prices are on the higher side for what is ultimately subpar fare. Not recommended at all!!

A small, modest place with wonderfully nice folks and an interesting and different menu, tried 4 different items on the menu as well as the turkish coffee and loved everything!
