The lady, assuming the owner, who took our order and served us was incredibly friendly and sweet! She didn't rush us or our order which for someone who anxiety, was really nice. Speaking of, she also had such a calming presence. I got a dirty chai, sweetened with pumpkin spice. Both the masala and pumpkin spice syrup is made fresh in house. It was delicious! I also got an avocado, egg and cheese sandwich on multi-grain and it hit the spot. The orders do take some time

Absolutely love Beans! The food is so yummy with many vegan options as well. The coffee is delicious and sustainably sourced. And a great place to hang out inside and outdoors.

Edit: I've been coming here every time I'm in town and I'm obsessed with the iced coffee with their homemade caramel syrup, as well as the avocado toast with egg. It's so good! I look forward to my trip to Beans every time I'm in Newark.
