Ace King Bbq - Newark

This Ume Tea location was probably one of the first ones in the Bay Area because all of them popped up. I have been to this location and are connected to Ace King BBQ. It located near Lion Supermarket, so it can get kind of busy in this plaza, but there is usually plenty of parking in this plaza. I was surprised that they did not have jasmine milk tea or any type of green milk tea. I usually get a jasmine green tea with or without boba depending on how I feel, or I would get a jasmine green tea with boba and cheese top. I think the jasmine green tea by itself tastes better without the cheese top (it tastes a bit sour to me with the cheese), but it is always hit or miss depending who is working because some days my tea tastes great and other days, it tastes very bitter.

Do not go to this ume tea that's located right next to ace king. Service is terrible and it seems like it's a chore for the worker to make your drink. Even though I live closer to this one, I prefer to go to the Fremont one or the Newark Blvd one.

Bad and slow service. Had to wait for 20 mins for a boba latte in the crowded bbq store. I felt like 70% of the drink was just water. The milk tea was lack of taste, and the boba was lack of taste as well. It was not worth the money and wait at all.

Kicked us out while we were waiting for boba that took them forever to make because their main business is the restaurant?! Never coming back and will tell friends. Thanks

I recommend trying another Ume location instead of wasting your time at this one with its terrible attitude.
