The Plough Pub - Newark-on-Trent

Great service and great food. What more can you ask!? Had the plough burger and it was delicious

Found this pub while looking for somewhere to eat during our journey. Wasn't sure what to expect but...wow, lovely friendly pub, fabulous food and lovely staff. Will definately make a detour to visit again.

We past around lunch and popped in to see if they was serving food. The lady that welcomed us at the bar was very friendly. We ordered selection of items off the menu and found it very enjoyable and very filling. We would highly recommend the plough, the service the quality of the food and the atmosphere was very good and relaxing Thanks again

First visit, good first impressions. can not say that the service was five stars, how that would sound it pretentious; but, I can say it was warm, welcoming and professional. Eating was nice, although I would personally like to roasted bread for my sausage sandwich, as it was a little limp and fell on the board. the side as they can see, as good a taste as it looked.

Friendly stuff, great atmosphere, food was served hot and fresh. Really enjoyed it
