Maui poke bowl - Newark

It pains me to write this. In the area for a short time and TWICE made a special trip to Maui for my favorite poke bowl. Both times I found the restaurant closed. Since my first attempted visit just a week ago the Saturday hours have been sloppily updated. Google Maps still shows the restaurant as open. This is no way to run a business.

Food is ALWAYS fresh. Owner is super sweet helpful and always makes your bowl fresh if you order it online. Best poke around!

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. When me and my boyfriend walked in it was dead. That should have been my first sign to turn around. When we approached the food bar they were missing more than half their food items listed on the board. i got a sushi rice bowl with seaweed and double scoop of salmon for $22.75!!!!!!! insanely over priced! The salmon was fishy and slimy, the seaweed almost tasted smoky.... I will never give them my business again.
