Potbelly - Newalla

I’ve ordered from here twice so far and I think this is my new favorite sandwich shop. It really runs with the best of em I think. Both times I ordered the half sandwich/cup of soup and it tasted fantastic and was reasonably priced. Steakhouse with the veggie soup the other day and Mediterranean with broccoli cheddar soup today. Wonderful lunches. Also so far the soups have really hit the spot. I’ve been looking for a place with a good selection of soups instead of just one or two options. I think they have 5 in all and a mac n cheese I’m looking forward to try. Can’t wait to go back. Love this place.

This is my first time coming. I came earlier and got myself a sandwich. I took a change on this place because I don’t usually like sandwiches. The first person to take my order she didn’t have a smile on her face and looked like she didn’t want to be there. Then she passed my sandwich on to someone else who had a better attitude and it showed through my sandwich. She did a great job with my sandwich and put everything I asked for on there and it was delicious.I decided to come back later after picking my daughter up from school and decided to get her one as well and to get me one later for dinner. This time the ladies had reversed positions so the lady that looked like she didn’t want to be there was the one to make my sandwich this time and it definitely showed. I had the Turkey Avocado with added bacon and it’s supposed to have cucumbers and she didn’t put those on there. I also asked for hot peppers and extra oil which she didn’t put on there either. The sandwhich is so dry and doesn’t have any flavor. I didn’t even finish it. And she didn’t seem to smile or care what so ever and it just wasn’t a great experience.If you don’t want to be there and you don’t like your job then do your customers a favor and don't be there. What a waste of $20. This is why I hate going out to eat these days. Customer service completely sucks and no one cares to hire people that care about their jobs anymore.

Little disappointed ordered BLTA and cup of chicken potpie soup.. the soup was good however my sandwich had barely and bacon and avocado just lettuce and tomato.. also added provolone cheese which cost extra and it was not on there.. I don't know if I'll be back for the sandwiches maybe the soup though

I’d avoid it. We went to order through the drive thru and were asked to come inside, we were forced to wait while the cars ahead of us got their food and then they expected us to park and walk in, while they left us boxed with a line of cars behind us, we could hear them saying the same thing to those cars during the busiest time at lunch. This place ain’t worth it with Schlotzsky next door.

Walked in and was never greeted or even acknowledged so I left.
