Bidra med feedbackThis is a good, but not great Thai place. Physically, it is a cozy cafe with very basic decor. We shared several dishes from here: beef noodle soup, pad kee mao, red curry, and more. The portion sizes of everything were decent. However, the flavor of all the dishes was slightly blander than they should have been. I am not sure if it was purposely toned down or if they just don't know how they make it. For a better Thai place, I recommend Jasmine Thai a couple doors down, which has been there for decades and has a more authentic taste.
I've been to Thailicious four times now, and without a doubt, it stands out as the best Thai restaurant in Manhattan. Jay, the owner, along with her husband Ken and sister Jan, has created an exceptional dining experience from the moment you step in. Their warmth, attentiveness, and friendliness set the stage for numerous memorable visits. The ambiance is relaxed, featuring lively music and adorned with captivating Thai artwork. The menu is diverse, offering both traditional Thai dishes and inventive twists on classics. Regular updates to their specials menu consistently deliver delightful surprises. For starters, the Papaya Salad and Mr. Roti are personal favorites. The Papaya Salad bursts with freshness, while the Mr. Roti, a shareable plate with delectable Roti and coconut curry, is a standout. Moving on to main courses, the Tom Yum fried rice and Green Curry are my top choices. I prefer my food extra spicy, and the additional kick complements these dishes perfectly. The variety of protein options allows for delightful customization. Cap off the meal with their irresistible mango/banana sticky rice for dessert—a definite must-try. In summary, Thailicious earns my unequivocal praise. Discovering this gem has made it my preferred Thai food spot in NYC. Despite residing on the Upper East Side, I happily commute on the Q and F trains for a satisfying meal. If you're in search of authentic Thai cuisine crafted by exceptional people in a fantastic setting, Thailicious is the destination of choice.
This place is a real gem, super friendly staff, delicious food and fair prices. I loved it so much I'm sure I'll be back, definitely worth a visit
I love this cozy wee place. Perfect for a cheerful and satisfying meal. Friendly. Happy. Healthy. Tasty.
Amazing food with great service and atmosphere. The food tasted incredible and everything was very rich in flavor. All very fresh ingredients. We ordered crab Rangoon and roti appetizer, and it was some of the best roti I’ve ever had. Entrees were also great. The ribs fell off the bone and were incredibly delicious. Also highly recommend the mango curry stir fry. Overall 10/10. Will certainly be coming back and recommending to all of my friends.
