However, it has existed! Right here at Sunrise Mart. Price is very reasonable, many items, and delicious (De-Li-Cious-Su; Japanese accent, lol We had two bowls, 1 was a Grilled salmon with Chicken karaage, it's good but nothing special compared to other places. The second, which was Gyusuji (Udon with Yam, and Beef stew I'd say this was my favorite all the time. I must have it when I went to Sunrise Mart especially the one located in Brooklyn (and Brooklyn branch's soup flavor was stronger too Udon was smooth but firmed, Soup was tasty but not too heavy nor thick. Beef stew might be cut a bit too small but that's ok. having along with a calpico or tea would send me to heaven. lmao. They have a microwave and restroom (YEAH! I believe the best meal here is Gyusuji, and the second was Beef over rice. Don't forget to try it. ARiKaTo! This wasn't my first time stopping by and surely it's not the last time too. recommended!!!! #director_eat_out
Dope market, I wish it wasn't in the cut like that— probably has to do with the rent prices being so high but this is a nice market. They have a restaurant right next door too. I got Tonkotsu Ramen and it was damn good. They have great seating and a nice ambiance, if you have time y'all should check it out.
Love this place mostly have what I’m looking for I hope they have Fugashi or If they do haven’t found it yet. Feel silly taking all this photo but I hope it helps y’all :
Love coming here for lunch and getting their pre-made boxes! You get so much for less than $15 and I always get to try something new! Also love that Bryant park is a block away! Great place to stop by and then have a picnic!
Great Japanese supermarket in the Bryant Park area. They have two storefronts; one is their supermarket with some pre-prepared foods and sushi. While the other is more of a cafeteria/ restaurant style. Things here can be a little overpriced, especially if you can get the item at competing supermarkets. However, they offer a great selection of Japanese vegetables, snacks, goods. For non-perishable items, they are often competitive with online retailers, however, I always check with Amazon if I'm browsing teas or other products that I can get shipped. In their supermarket section, they have fish for sashimi or sushi that is often reasonably competitively priced. On the second floor, they have some household goods and beauty products that are often overlooked if you only look at the main ground level of the market. Excellent friendly service. However, make sure to bring your own bag because they charge a lot more than the usual $0.05 per bag.
