Good for the price: $37 lunch set at a no-tipping establishment. This format allows the rice to arrive slightly warm for each piece. The consistency of the rice does leave something to be desired, though: wet and sticky, as if the rice wasn’t washed enough. This might be needed to form the sushi quickly without having it falling apart. The restaurant was packed and the kitchen had to move quickly.

Fish quality is 10/10 as always. I went to the LA location a few years ago and and now the NYC location and they’re all consistently good. The nigiri and hand rolls are the perfect temperature and taste amazing. Highly recommend the yellowtail hand roll and the toro tasting special if they have it available.Food: 5/5

Overall, good. Sushi was fresh... Had the fixed price. Service was friendly but a bit overbearing rapid fire. They nearly took away plates of food that weren't even half finished. The pressure to get in and get out was noticeable. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick and solid sushi choice in the city, but not if you want to relax and savor your food. Think we were in and out within 30 to 45 mins.
