The Royal Munkey - New York

This is a beautiful Indian place in the gramercy quarter. eating here is excellent, and they have a $14 lunch special that comes with an escape and one side. I personally recommend the butter chicken or the lambburger, both delicious. during the week it is not overcrowded and they can sit easily. they are pretty fast with the order, and overall it is a good experience when they are a fan of classic Indian food.

Food was great, decor was cool. We sat at the bar, warm and inviting. I had the lamb chops (BEST EVER! , my boyfriend had the chicken curry. Came with rice and naan and they comped us a free drink and dessert. We will be back for the hospitality, small gestures like that is what keeps customers returning.

Great neighborhood location with attentive service. however the food was just ok. the Zoti wrap was served with fried peppers that would have been good if they were warm. the seasoning is wonderful. we ate there for Sunday brunch and it was empty, which is a shame because the food isn't bad.

Excellent food, excellent service. Worth the money.

The cocktails were very good. Prices overall were reasonable. Decent size potions.
