THE BAR at Great Northern Food Hall

When you walk into the terminal you’re greeted with a sprawling food hall offering Scandinavian sandwiches, salads, hot dogs sweets, plus coffee a bar. I had a pork and cabbage sandwich and my beautiful girlfriend had the pulled chicken sandwich. The bread was fresh, the meat was tasty, the vegetables were fresh, and the prices were affordable.

Superbly fresh, home-made tasting bakery. Pricey, but thoroughly worth it. Fruit and salads. Unenthusiastic staff. Very small place, close to one of Grand Central's entrances, and to the subway's entrance.

Group of stores that only take card. Great for City commuters but not good for tourists that want to pay in cash. The food was pre made and kept warm ready for you to order. The bagel place was the best of a bad bunch.

You must start the day with breakfast! So many choices...consider the Grain Bar at the Great Northern if Oatmeal is on your list! A good sized portion, cooked and ready to serve, includes healthy toppings! Enjoy! (I did!

Great Palce for a good breakfast... everything I tasted so far is delicious... sometimes they try to hard to be a restaurant, they are a bakery with a breakfast service.... and thats plenty in Grand Central.
