Tarallucci e Vino East Village

This restaurant is absolutely horrible and should never be visited. It should be shut down immediately. I specifically asked for something not to be included in my pasta dish, but it still came with it. The server then tried to rinse it off in the sink and served it to me cold.

The pasta was flavorless and too expensive. The dessert was decent until my friend discovered mold on the fruit. Not really worth visiting with so many other restaurant options available. They only received 3 stars instead of less because they provided us with a fair discount on the entire meal once we showed them the mold. The staff and atmosphere were pleasant.

The food was delicious! It may sound strange, but I really liked that the portion size was just right - I didn't feel like I had to take home leftovers. I highly recommend the relaxed atmosphere, the simple yet tasty menu, and the carefully selected wine list.

Atmosphere was nice and wait staff were fine. Unfortunately, the food was not good. For $21, I expected much more than one piece of overcooked octopus, which has turned to rubber. Not to mention the fact it was old octopus, given the unappetizing fishy taste of it. I also ordered the cacio e pepe (also overcooked) and was not impressed. Overall, quite disappointed in the meal. Trova un altro posto dove mangiare. Non ne vale la pena.

The burger and French toast were out of this world! I judge a place partially by what the wait staff recommends and was very happy that the waitress gave me genuine recommendations that were fantastic! Very pretty spot, if going here with your partner the corner seating in the back is quite intimate
