SEORAK Teppan & Bar - New York

I have booked a reservation for sat dec 1 by 19 clock by open table. that was for my man's birthday dinner. I received a confirmation e-mail when booking and a reservation email at fri nov 30 at 830 o'clock . I didn't need the restaurant because I got a reservation reminder by email, so I didn't think it was necessary. when we were there, the restaurant was closed. no signis explaining, we or even a sorry, we are closed . for a Saturday night. it was no one inside and all the lights were out. I have tried to call the restaurant and no answer or voting statement. I tried to call again on Sunday 2 December, the day after, and the same thing that no voicemail explanation at all for the closing. on the seorak website, it says they are closed (but it is very hard to find on the website, and its not obvious at all.) google still says that the restaurant is also open. Thank you. open table seorak for the waste of our time on the birthday of my mannes.

The food at this restaurant it a must try. The feel of the restaurant is more late night pub style (louder music) so I wouldn’t recommend for groups that like a quieter ambience. Service was not very good, had to flag down server multiple times and we were ignored when coming into the restaurant but the food made up for that.

The restaurant didn't honour our reservation as they said they were having a private event. No warning. Very disappointed as it was father's day.
