Russian Samovar - New York

Love this place. We always start with some vodka shots, the Russian trio of salads, and the smoked fish sampler. Best I’ve had anywhere. Also love when they have the live pianist who is excellent.

This was our first time here. The atmosphere, music, and service were great. However, the food was really lacking. I had luke warm beef stroganoff and my husband was served raw, bleeding chicken with Georgian spices. The table next to us also sent their raw chicken with Georgian spices back.

We are happy to have eaten at this restaurant. Authentic Russian cuisine. The prices are a little higher, but the taste is worth it! The borsch was better than my mother's. Thank you!

The Russian Samovar is a cool bar. I'm writing this review after going to a Russian LGBTQ event there. It was a really nice and enjoyable event, reminding me of good times in the past. I felt comfortable and at home. I've been to that restaurant before and the food was really good. It's a fantastic place and always enjoyable. The staff, who are friendly Ukrainians, make it even better.

We love to hang out at this spot. Vodka is good for you! This place has lots of history to it as well.
