O'Reilly's Bar & Kitchen - New York

This restaurant is CLOSED and UNDER CONSTRUCTION. (Dec. 7, 2019) Open Table is inaccurately listing this as an available and open dining establishment. I was able to make a reservation and received a confirmation email for my reservation of Dec. 7, 2019. I arrived at the restaurant to find it completely closed and under construction. My review is reflective not of the restaurant's food quality/ambiance/etc., but for Open Table to remove this restaurant from available dining options until the restaurant resumes operational business.

I sat for over 10 minutes before anyone came by to even asked if I wanted a drink. Service throughout the entire meal was terrible.

We found this place after shopping in the morning at Herald Square. It's a pub, with bar seating and high-top tables, with a few booths and regular tables. We were only the second party in the place when we arrived at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, but the other party was large with several children. It started filling up around 2 p.m. There was only one server trying to do his best, but I could tell he was backed up. He was friendly and apologetic though. Great pub food options with vegetarian choices available. They also offer a weekend brunch menu. Very reasonably priced. I was chaperoning four teenagers, who all had burgers, and I had grilled cheese with soup. Our bill was less than $75 for all five of us, which was excellent for NYC. The food was tasty and hit the spot. I'd go again.

Went for dinner/drinks for my husbands birthday. Hostess was excellent. Our server was not so interested in getting drinks or food. We had to keep asking her for drinks when new guests arrived. I even asked for a dish to eat our apps and she rolled her eyes at me. 20% tip was automatically included in the bill so she had no incentive. Otherwise great energy and lovely joint. Apps and sandwiches we had were yummy

Went for an early lunch. Food and service were very good.
