Bidra med feedbackBeen several times and was worried that it slipped (slow service,) but last night was just perfect. the friendly host sat us at a beautiful table in the back where no diners are cramped and that was spectacular, especially the small gem salad to my red chicken (maybe the best at all) to my wife gnocchi with lobster from which she speaks the next day and great service and wine selection. all in all, a wonderful Friday night.
We arrived and were asked if we wanted to sit on a table or wait for a better table. we decided to wait for a better table. we had a reservation and were on time, 15 minutes later we sat on the same table we decided from earlier. of the time when we sat at the time, the escape came an hour and fifteen minutes had passed. the food was in order, but there was little communication from the staff regarding the waiting, other than a half-hearted appology when the court came out and a later extra meal from wein. all this makes a less than stellar Valentine's Day.
Eating was excellent! service was also excellent. a great sound.
Another fantastic meal.. The pasta dishes are unique and delicious. The sommelier introduced us to another interesting wine that I never would have selected without his advice. Loved it!
The spinach pappardelle with pear in a venison ragout was incredible. So were the Scottish ocean trout in lemongrass with Buddha’s hand and the boquerones (white anchovies) in lemon and parsley.
