Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely love this place. The Garlic and Herb creamcheese is my favorite. Never had anything bad from here.
The everything bagel was just ok. There wasnt enough seasonings on it so it wasnt very tasty. The cream cheese was also nothing spectacular. Ive had better bagels in NYC.
I had a terrible humiliating experience at this place. I ordered a bagel with white fish sandwich. I was asked if I wanted salate and tomato on the sandwich. I answered in any case. When I got into the register, the Bagel sandwich was almost $14. I was told that they accused me three dollars for salat on the sandwich! when I asked why they didn't tell the customer that they charge such a steep price for two small pieces salat, I was told that it was written on the sign above. there is a huge menu sign with 1 million different things there and maybe or maybe not it is written in small print. I said, I think it's up to the facility to tell people that they will charge them such a creepy price for basic salat. they said they have no time to tell everyone who orders. isn't that their job?! I asked them to remove the salat at which point there was practically no fish in the sandwich. I asked her to fill that sandwich, which it would normally be without salate. then they refused to give me that sandwich and came out of the facility. the behavior of the people working here is absolutely arrogant. so no customers should be treated. and it is her right to get what they pay and not be involved. no bagel should cost this price with only filler. buyer's intention. this device is operated by unmatched winders.
The breakfast sandwiches are good, but you also always need to doublecheck your order before leaving as the line is long and they frequently make mistakes. Also, know the general price of your order before getting to the register; the number of people I have personally seen had to correct their totals because they were being overcharged is staggering (charging for platters that weren't ordered, adding a dollar to a sandwich, everything under the sun), myself included.
Went for a walk on our last day in town and stopped by Hudson Bagel. They have a huge selection of bagels, cream cheese spreads, breakfast items, drinks, juices, sandwiches and more. The front of the store has a garage door that is open to the street. Although the line was almost out the door, it moved pretty quick. When ordering, I didnt stray too far from the centerline, and ordered an everything bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. (There were a lot of other really good looking options for bagels and flavored cream cheese too We sat at a table, ate and enjoyed the morning. It cost about $4 and was delicious! Bam, my first bagel in NYC! Cross that off the list!
