Bidra med feedbackThe entire menu was somewhat experimental that each dish turns into a fun taste test. However if we had to pick, we especially enjoyed the tuna crudo.
I haven't been to for about a year, but I always enjoyed the interesting food an foound the service to be very well done. Sadly my experience last week didn't measure up. We arrived about on a weeknight and there were only other occupied tables. The server was very pleasant and our drinks arrived promptly. Then things took a turn for the worse. We only ordered two mains, the restaurant was empty and it took minutes for our food to arrive. We didn't bother to stay for dessert and with that small bit of food, the check come to without tip. QPR not aligned...
Poached eggs were well done (yolks looked hard boiled). Crab was rubbery. One of my pancakes was burned and the other, underdone. They forgot my side of sausage. Only saving grace was the delicious deviled eggs, though unfortunately they cost for just one half an egg.
Was turned onto Fifty on a trip to NYC in August. Could not wait to get back. The experience did not disappoint. Food and service were exceptional.
Really enjoyed the combinations of flavors in the black rice with calamari and shrimp, potato soup , tuna tartare and salmon! All were perfectly seasoned and oh so flavorful ! We want to return soon to try other dishes.
