Blank Slate Coffee Kitchen Midtown

We were here for breakfast today. Unfortunately it was not so easy to find our son something on the menu, so we asked for waffeln level instead of the rose water berry and sweet cream. Nevertheless, we were charged the full price of $14 and that was for two simple waffels. I asked if it would be possible to get only one waffel next time, as my son would eat only one, it would simply not be possible to brush off. rather rude and not customer-friendly! we will not be back!

We were close and visited bare slate to breakfast 3 from our 6 days in nyc, since the food was delicious. our teenage children loved the waffels, and the avocado toast and mushrooms and feta scrambble were my choices (the latter was very filled out). the caffe is beautiful inside and was always busy.

Decided to come here for a quick bite after they saw that they are on seated. two thirds of the seats were taken. it has a beautiful corner that makes in much sun. all there, including customers, had a calm mood. I ordered avocado toast and rose matcha latte. avocado toast part of the avocado was oxidized. I'm glad they delivered fork and knife because I'm not the biggest finger food person. the problem is if the brot is too hard to cut through. I know some brote should have a harder crust and fluffy inside sides, but that was missing from softer side. the chili flakes and honey gave a nice note going, but they themselves don't pack enough taste. I think this toast really needs a coarse sea salt and black pepper upstairs. do I like the microgreen? but they do not add enough substance to each bite. Maybe adding a green with a buns effect can help. rose matcha I have seen photos of it with flower leaves above. I thought it was sweet to try. I also thought this drink would calm down. it was weaker than I wanted. the color looks good above, but the drink under the foam is actually very bright in the color. it is not even about the color, but about the taste. I taste the matcha, but there is no earthy taste. similar to the comment on the rose, I will not get enough of it. Of course, I don't want a rose candle fragrance in my latte, but I was hoping for a richer fragrance. it makes me regret to choose the rose matcha latte instead of regularly latte. I'm surprised they didn't add something to distinguish between the regular matcha latte. I would also like to say how the latte art disappeared in a short time. I'm not sure if it's related to the Matcha base, but I think the problem is to steam the milk.

Walked in after finding this cute coffee shop online. We were immediately greeted by a cheerful employee who found and cleared a table for us. Ordered a chai latte and the sweet toast, it was AMAZING. Loved it ! 10/10 great food, fast service, attractive environment.

Excellent breakfast sandwich with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and creamy aioli. The brioche bun was a treat on the bacon egg and cheese.The cold brew coffee is also incredibly smooth and almost sweet, despite taking it black.
