Bamboo Sushi - New York

This is my favorite restaurant to go to, and they are always willing to accommodate any changes to my order.

The sushi had a strong fishy taste and one of my rolls was made incorrectly. The sushi rice was overcooked and mushy, and the fried rice lacked flavor. However, the spicy mayo was tasty. Overall, the meal was disappointing.

I ordered the $14 3-roll combo with a choice of soup or salad at this restaurant. I tried the spicy laugh roll, which had lightly spicy salmon and a crunchy topping that seemed to be fried. The eel avocado roll was very heavy on the avocado and light on the eel. The yellowtail roll was good. Overall, I enjoyed all the rolls, including the avocado-heavy eel. The salad had a tasty dressing that was both sweet and acidic. I would not recommend the Thai ice cream as it tasted too much like condensed milk and was quite hard. The service was friendly and quick on a Wednesday afternoon. I had a good meal, felt satisfied, and thought the prices were reasonable.

I want to give 3.5 stars. eating was good, not great, but really good.

Very good price for qualitatiw high quality, freshly produced rolls.
