Arbor Bistro - New York

The staff was very nice and the service was good, but the food was pretty mediocre. We ordered the chicken satay and calamari as appetizers and they were good, but the Korean ribs were a bit salty and the meat was tough. It came with either white or brown rice. I requested the brown rice which was sticky and had absolutely no flavor. I'd only come here in a pinch and stick to the sake and appetizers.

The server was very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The sushi was beautifully prepared, and I would definitely return.

Ordered 11:55AM Seamless by latest 12:40PM Didn 't arrive, called restaurant, Still didn 't leave the restaurant 12:56PM Restaurant lies by saying order was received at 12:20PM Restaurant says they will leave the restaurant by 1:00PM Calledrestaurant again then they say TOLD YOU TO CANCEL at 1:20PM Order arrives after 2 hours. IN SIMPLE TERM, I WOULDN 'T COMPLAINABOUT THE FOOD QUALITY. HOWEVER, THIS IS A PLACE WHERE THE RESTAURANT TELLS YOU TO CANCEL THE ORDER WHEN CUSTOMER CALLS IN TO INQUIRE ABOUT ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME WHEN THE DELIVERY GUY DOESN 'T SHOW UP. IF YOU CONSIDER ORDERING, READ THIS REVIEWCAREFULLY AND SET YOUR EXPECTATIONS ACCORDINGLY.

Karen, the host/waitress is the best and the food is all really good. They have lots of options. We had a party of 20 people and everything was perfect. She even gave us separate checks. Very accommodating. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
