Bidra med feedbackGreat steakhouse in midtown (and TriBeCa) that is certainly worth of ?top tier? status. LOVE how your steaks are literally cooked table side to perfection. And the accompaniments were all delicious!
I came during restaurant week and my review is based on that experience. I don't frequent steakhouses and the prices on the regular menu are more than I typically spend on dinner but after the food I had, I could be convinced to come back at full price! The dining area is very classy and has an upscale vibe. The lighting is soft and servers are all dressed well. Again, I don't do fine dining at steakhouses often so maybe this is typical but I felt fancy Service was very
I took a client here for dinner . The food is great love the porterhouse aged steak is melt in the mouth . The service was great until when we were about to leave. Asked for the check 3 times noone bring us the check and we waited over 40 minutes and the server Is no where to be found beside that overall is great .
Amazing dinner. Lost a star cause my steak was overcooked. Was too hungry and if i sent it back i'd be eating while everyone was done. (I asked for rare, and it was closer to medium. Other than that, twas quite a great meal. The dry-aged prime rib and pastrami steaks actually force my hand to say they'd give Double Eagle a run for their money. The bread is absolutely amazing. All the little details. Oysters were meh... Not because of what or where... But because whoever
I was originally apprehensive at going to American Cut, trying to sift through all of the annoying Restaurant Week spam. I will say that I am extremely glad I ended up going here, it was a fantastic experience. My experience may have been better than average because I went at a down time, so we had plenty of attention from the wait staff and didn't have to wait (regardless of my reservation). The foie gras was perfectly seared, with two sauces and pink peppercorn.
