The Pizza Pig - New Territories

I went to this restaurant because they promote themselves as being environmentally friendly and offering vegan cheese as a substitute. However, when I tried to order the vegan cheese, I was told they didn't have it that day. This seems to be a common occurrence at non-vegan restaurants that try to showcase their green initiatives, so I suspect it wasn't just a one-time mistake. I ended up ordering a spaghetti bolognese without cheese, but the portion was small for the price of 168HKD. They did give me a 10% discount for not having the cheese, which I appreciated. The pizzas looked good, but I wouldn't recommend going here. If you still want to visit, it's better to call ahead to ensure they have the ingredients you want.

We went to this restaurant for a child's birthday and decided to order a full-length table pizza for four people, just to be safe. The pizza was large enough to fill us up and was tasty. The herbs were used well, and the long rectangular shape of the pizza that covered the whole table was a cool touch for photos. Despite the price, there may be more authentic pizza options elsewhere, but this place is still better than many others. They offer vegan options in both the pizza and pasta sections, and the prices are reasonable. The drink menu is standard with nothing special to order, but the service was good.
